Caitlyn Grace DeTar in the womb on 10-27-05. We got to get a 3D Ultrasound thanks to Brandie's mom. It is truly amazing to see the baby's face before she is born. Posted by Picasa

It's a girl!!!

Well, I really didn't know what to think when we found out the baby was going to be a girl. We had originally decided not to find out what the baby is going to be. At the last minute we both caved because we really have to start planning where we are going to put the baby and what we are going to do about clothes, bedding, etc. I guess I was really counting on a boy.

I don't know why I was counting on a boy. I keep telling people that I was just looking for a backup football player, but I guess it was just probably my selfish male ego. That being said, I'm so pumped to have another little princess. Both Brandie and I didn't know what to expect with Abby and we took our little baby girl for granted a little bit. This time we get to cherish the new baby princess. This is going to be so cool. Another little Abby to play with. Abby has me wrapped around her little finger. I don't like to admit it, but she does. She doesn't get away with much, but every now and then I just can't help myself.

Being in Chicago right now is literally killing me. During my talk with Abby, Brock and Brandie tonight Brock and Abby both broke out the waterworks wanting me to come home. I HATE BEING AWAY FROM MY BABIES AND MY WIFE FOR THIS LONG. HATE IT. All I want to do is wrestle with Sissy and Bubba in the floor and go to sleep holding my wife. I really didn't think it would be this bad, but it is worse than I could have ever imagined.

I just can't wait to get all this training out of the way and get back to some semblance of normalcy. That will probably not happen until about the time the Caitlyn Grace is born. That is going to be a nice time of our life. Brandie finally gets to stay home and NONE of my kids will be in DAYCARE. YAHOOOOOOO!!!!! We have been working long and hard to get to this point, but we have finally done it. Didn't happen until the last baby, but at least my kids will be raised by thier mom and dad from now on.

I can't wait to take Caitlyn Grace from Brandie to hold her and then pass her to Abby and Brock. That will be a special day. Both Bandie and I need a special day right now.

I love you Brandie. More than you can imagine. I can't wait for Dallas.
